Wapda men, women claim national badminton team titles

LAHORE: Wapda annexed both men’s and women’s team titles in the 59th National Badminton Championships here on Wednesday.

Wapda defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3-0 in the men’s final while their women also clinched the trophy beating Sindh 3-0 in the decider.

The first-round matches of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles were under progress at the time of the filing of this report.
