The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Friday inducted Chinese-made J-10C fighter jets in its fleet to upgrade the country's air defence capacity.
The ceremony, held at Minhas Air Base Kamra, was attended by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the three services chiefs, federal ministers, Chinese ambassador to Pakistan and members of the diplomatic community.
The military had in January confirmed the long-speculated deal with China for the supply of J-10C jets. It had said that the acquisition was being done in view of the regional security matrix that required Pakistan’s armed forces to continuously upgrade their capacity.
