Woman, son die in Dadu road accident
DADU: A woman and her five-year-old son died and her husband and another son were injured when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a tractor-driven trolley along Dadu-Moro road on the outskirts of Dadu city on Saturday.
Gul Mohammad Solangi, along with his wife, Hina Solangi, and two sons, Ahmed and Saddam, was on his way to Moro to attend a marriage ceremony, according to the police.
Hina Solangi and Ahmed died on the spot and Gul Mohammad and Saddam were rushed to the Dadu Civil Hospital for treatment, they said, adding that doctors at the hospital referred both the injured to the Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Sehwan, due to their serious condition.
Two killed as three vehicles collide
Two men were killed and four others injured when a passenger coach, a truck and a Vigo collided in Khanot town on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Aftab Anwar, 35, and Khurram Ali, 45, both residents of Karachi, who were riding the Vigo. They were on their way to Sehwan, the area police said, adding that they died on the spot.
Four other persons were injured in the accident and taken to the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, for treatment.
The Khanot police impounded the three vehicles. They said drivers of the truck and passenger coach escaped from the accident site.
