Imran’s call for making Pakistan ‘Madina-like state’

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan urged the nation to pray and work to make Pakistan Madina-like state and break the chains of slavery to get rid of the “puppets installed at the government in the wake of a foreign conspiracy”.

Addressing a dua gathering held at his Bani Gala residence on the night of 27th of Ramazan, Mr Khan said nations who forgot their ideology ultimately lost their existence.

“Pakistan is the only country to come into being in the name of Islam,” he said, adding that Muslims of the subcontinent supported the creation of a new homeland just because of that dream. “We had to turn Pakistan into a welfare state that stands on the principles of the state of Madina, therefore, we should strive to make Pakistan stand on those principles,” said Imran Khan.
