24 probables called up to select Pakistan hockey team for Asia Cup
LAHORE: Twenty-four probables have been invited to attend the national hockey camp as part of selecting the team for the Asia Cup, which will be held in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta from May 23 to June 1.
The training camp will run from May 9 to 18 at the National Hockey Stadium and the probables have been asked to report to camp-commandant Khawaja Junaid.
Head coach Seigfried Aikman is looking to remove the deficiencies shown by the players during their tour of Europe last month where Pakistan played five matches against Netherlands, Spain and Belgium.
