LAHORE: The Pakistan U-23 hockey team earned a close 4-3 victory in an echibition match against the combined team of the Jaffar Memorial Hockey Tournament at the Aitchison College Ground here on Saturday.

The losing team comprised the best players of the last edition of the Jaffar Memorial Inter-school Hockey Tournament, a decade-old hockey event.

For the Pakistan U-23 team, Abdul Rehman scored two goals, while Hassan Amin and Tazeem-ul-Hasan chipped in with one goal each. Arshad Liaqat, Murtaza and Abuzar scored for the combined team.
