TAXILA: The Punjab government has transferred the Attock District Police Officer (DPO) SSP Arif Shahbaz Khan.

Mr Khan was posted just 17 days ago in replace of Rana Shoaib Mehmood.

SSP Mohammad Umar Farooq Salamat, who was serving as additional director Special Protection Unit Lahore, has been directed to assume charge of DPO.

The outgoing DPO has been directed to assume charge of SSP administration Special Branch Lahore.
