Chairing a meeting of the DDAC at the office of deputy commissioner Roshan Mehsud, he got a detailed briefing from the heads of departments on the ongoing development schemes.
He directed them to speed up work on projects and complete them within the stipulated time. Later, he gave approval to Rs60 million development projects.
He said after completion of Kacahi road, work would be started on Marai, Khwaja Abad, Junglekhel, Charbagh, Hosptial and Ambar Banda roads. He said carpeting of the Kacahi road had been a longstanding demand of the people as they were troubled taking patients to hospitals, especially during rains.
JOINS PTI: Former divisional president of Pakistan Peoples Party Syed Yasir Ali Shah on Wednesday joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, alleging that the PPP had become a slave of foreign masters and was playing in the hands of the establishment.
He made the decision during a meeting with district development advisory committee chairman Ziaullah Bangash here.
Mr Yasir Ali argued that the PPP was no more an independent party like it was under late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
He alleged that PPP had fought dictatorships, but now it had compromised its ideology. He said PTI chairman Imran Khan was fighting to liberate the minds of masses and bring them out of slavery.
