Sanibel Mayor Holly Smith said Public Works employees have been at work filling in the abandoned holes.

Smith said a viral TikTok challenges saying, ‘How deep can you dig?’ is believed to be behind the unusual holes.

The wall, consisting of 54,321 dominoes, wrapped around the entire gym at the school.
