PESHAWAR: An army soldier embraced martyrdom in a clash with terrorists in the Draban area of Dera Ismail Khan, the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Sunday.

The exchange of fire took place between troops and terrorists in Draban on Saturday, with the soldiers effectively engaging the terrorists, it added. However, during the intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Mujeebur Rehman embraced martyrdom. The 31-year-old soldier was a resident of Lakki Marwat.

The troops are busy clearing the area of terrorists to eliminate any security threat found there, the ISPR said.
