ISLAMABAD: Prime Mi­­nister Shehbaz Sharif appo­inted former FBR chairman Tariq Bajwa as a special assistant, on Wednesday.

According to a notification issued by the PM Office, Mr Bajwa has been appoi­nted SAPM with the status of the minister of state.

A senior government official told Dawn that Mr Bajwa will help the government with the finance sector.
