Pakistan make last-8 at World Team Snooker
KARACHI: Pakistan conjured up back-to-back victories to reach the quarter-finals of the World Team Snooker Championship in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
According to the results made available here, first Pakistan survived a scare while getting the better of Qatar 1 3-2 to top group F.
Babar Masih and Ahsan Ramzan struggled to register a 25-64, 89-9, 85-16, 29-66, 59-37 victory over Qatar’s combination of Ali Alobaidli and Ahmed Saif.
Later, Pakistan trounced Malaysia 3 4-1 (69-39, 46-63, 73-27, 62-38, 50-26).
Pakistan are now slated to face India 2 in the last-eight round on Saturday.
