Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical trailer

Netflix shared a trailer of the new musical fantasy film Matilda the Musical, featuring Alisha Weir, Lashana Lynch and Emma Thompson.

It’s is an adaptation of the 2010 musical by Tim Minchin, based on the Roald Dahl children’s book. The book was previously adapted as a 1996 film starring Mara Wilson.

The new film follows Matilda (Weir), a book-loving girl with a vivid imagination, as she dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results. Lynch plays Miss Honey, while Thompson portrays Miss Trunchbull. Andrew Riseborough, Stephen Graham and Sindhu Vee also have roles. The film will premiere December 25 on Netflix.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales coming to PC

Sony’s action-adventure video game, originally a PlayStation exclusive, will launch on November 18 on Steam and Epic Games.

The PC version of the game features several enhancements and customisable settings, including options for ray-traced reflections and shadows, and support for Nvidia DLSS 3 technology.

The graphics menu has many customisable features, presets and quality levels, including texture quality and filtering, level of detail, crowd and traffic density, field of view and more.

The game is fully optimised for ultra-wide gaming and supports ultra-wide aspect ratios.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available for pre-purchase and those who pre-order will receive the two-suit pack, including the T.R.A.C.K. Suit and Into the Spider-Verse Suit, early access to the Gravity Well gadget, and three skill points to unlock some abilities from the start of the game.

Park Ji-hoon releases new EP, ‘Nitro’ music video

South Korean singer Park Ji-hoon is back with new music. The 23-year-old K-pop star, a former member of the boy band Wanna One, released the EP The Answer and a music video for the song ‘Nitro’.

The video of Nitro shows Park race against time as he is taken over by a powerful force.

The Answer also features the songs ‘Silence,’ ‘Moon & Back,’ ‘Frame,’ ‘Don’t Tell Anyone’ and ‘Midnight.’
