Islamabad police ask hotels, guest houses not to rent out rooms to PTI march participants

Islamabad police have asked owners of hotels and guest houses in the capital not to rent out rooms to PTI’s long march participants once they reach the city, it emerged today.

A letter from the Industrial Area Police Station, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, and addressed to a hotel owner at Faizabad, says no hotel or guest house should rent out rooms to people linked to PTI’s long march.

“All guest houses, hotels and rest houses will be checked on a daily basis in the light of these directives and strict legal action will be taken if anyone is found violating the orders,” the letter, dated October 28, says.

Dawn.com has reached out to Islamabad Police for comment.
