Those who spread ‘lies’ of talks will fail: Imran Ismail

Former Sindh governor Imran Ismail has said those who spread “false rumours” of negotiations will fail.

“There is no room left for negotiations. The people’s decision is immediate elections,” he said on Twitter.

“Leaders are being arrested, false cases are being made, the media is being banned and committees — like the cabinet — are misleading the people.

“Our single-point agenda is true freedom.”

The tweet came after PTI’s long march ended abruptly on its second day yesterday with the party chief Imran Khan departing for Lahore.

PTI leader Asad Umar had stated a “very important meeting” as the reason for Imran’s absence from the march but later, Imran clarified in a tweet that he went as “Lahore was closer and we had already decided not to move at night”.
