Interior ministry alerts Asad Umar about threats to PTI’s long march

The interior ministry has sent a letter to PTI Secretary General Asad Umar informing him about threats to the party’s long march.

The letter, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, said anti-state elements or “radicalised youth” could take advantage of the march’s public gatherings and attempt to destabilise the country through attacks.

The interior ministry advised the PTI to exercise extreme caution and requested to consider the possibility of postponing the November 26 public gathering in Rawalpindi.
