IHC appoints banking court’s special judge
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) got a district and sessions judge from the Punjab Judicial Service to be appointed as a special judge of the banking court.
Incumbent special judge of the banking court Yar Mohammad Gondal will be repatriated to his parent department, Punjab Judicial Service, under the Lahore High Court (LHC) after his three-year deputation expires in March, 2023.
On the requisition of the IHC administration, the LHC has posted District and Sessions Judge Abul Hasnat Mohammad Zulqarnain on a three-year deputation period and placed his services at the disposal of the IHC.
Earlier, last week, the IHC administration posted three additional district and sessions judges to the civil district and sessions division (East and West).
Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Haseena Saqlain was transferred from the IHC to the Civil District Sessions Division (West). ADSJs Mohammad Adnan and Raja Asif Mehmood have been posted to the Civil District and Sessions Division (East).
The additional district and sessions judge was previously working as judge at the Special Court of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The IHC administration has appointed District and Sessions Judge Azam Khan as Judge Special Court.
