Hope gives meaning to life
This is regarding the article “Hope gives meaning to life” by Sarwasha Mairaj (YW, November 5). We humans are vulnerable to things which hurt us mentally or physically, our whole perspective of the situation changes and we grow pessimistic. But at such times, only hope keeps us going despite hardships.
However, the key to hope is persistence and resilience. I agree with the writer that hope is a trait that enables us to survive, even when everything seems lost.

Let’s write the right way
This is with reference to the cover article “Let’s write the right way” by Yasmin Elahi (YW, December 3). It was a great piece on the topic of writing. We, the youngsters, are learners and are unaware of the tips and tricks that are essential to write a good piece. The article acknowledged all the mistakes that a novice writer does and I used to do them in my writing too.
One of the main things that I and most writers do is that they avoid reading books and magazines, as we consider reading to be a tiresome and boring activity. The writer well-elaborated the importance of reading books and magazines, as they give new ideas and improve our vocabulary. As a new learner, I want to suggest to my readers that for writing, the first thing one should do is to read a lot.

A good deed never goes in vain
This is regarding the story, “A good deed never goes in vain,” by Muhammad Anas Siddiqiui (YW, November 26).
I appreciate the way the writer gave the message to his reader that if someone is doing something bad to us, we must not take revenge or do something bad in return. Instead we should do good and remain positive with them, this way positivity prevails and bad things come to an end.

It’s okay to think differently
This is the regarding the story “It’s okay to think differently” by Linta Mustafa (YW, November 19). This was not just a story, but also a lesson for the readers. Often times, kids cannot express their opinion, either because they are a bit slow in responding or due to the fear of being judged. But in my opinion, if we’re working in a group, then we shouldn’t be afraid of giving ideas.
Everyone has a different way of thinking and it doesn’t mean that they are right or wrong, it is just that their is difference of opinion. So, either it is us or the other person, we should respect and accept their opinion, and give them their due share.
