Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse first full trailer
Sony Pictures Animation has dropped the first full-length trailer for one of 2023’s most anticipated animated features, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which will be in theatres on June 2, 2023.
It has the largest crew for an animated movie, features around 240 characters, and takes place in at least six different universes. From the new trailer, it looks like Spideys from other universes will participate in an epic battle royal.
The sequel takes on after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its existence. But when a new threat arises, Miles finds himself against other Spiders, and redefines what it means to be a hero to save the ones he loves most.
Spider-Man 2 new release window from PlayStation
PlayStation and Insomniac Games have officially confirmed the new release for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Earlier, a new leak suggested that it would land on PS5 next fall. And while PlayStation didn’t have anything to say at the time in response to this leak, the popular gaming company has verified that this window was accurate.
Outside of confirming this launch span, PlayStation had a brief tease of the game.
“Following the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the Spider-duo of Peter Parker and Miles Morales are back in the next blockbuster action chapter of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series,” says PlayStation’s official description of the upcoming sequel.
New Tomb Raider game by Amazon
Amazon Games will now be serving as the publisher of the next entry in the long-running Tomb Raider series.
Announced by the studio, Amazon Games was revealed to be the publishing entity behind the Tomb Raider project. While it’s not currently known which platforms this Tomb Raider title will come to, the fact that the game is being developed for Unreal Engine 5 suggests it will appear across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
Since the game now has a publisher, there’s a good chance that 2023 will finally bring with it our first look at Lara Croft’s next major adventure.
