LAHORE: The Punjab police chief has appointed BS-18 police officer Faisal Gulzar the new Lahore Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) police chief here on Monday.

Mr Gulzar has replaced Shamsul Haq, who has been transferred and posted as Faisalabad Sadar SP against an existing vacancy.

Mr Gulzar has served as district police officer (DPO) of different districts of Punjab.
