Taeyang and Jimin release “Vibe” single, music video

South Korean singers Taeyang and Jimin have teamed up on new music. Taeyang, a member of the K-pop group Big Bang, released a single and music video of the song “Vibe”, featuring Jimin, a member of the boy band BTS.

“Vibe” marks Taeyang’s first solo release since his 2017 album “White Night”. The song will appear on his forthcoming solo album. The band Big Bang also consists of T.O.P, G-Dragon and Daesung, while BTS also features the members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, V and Jungkook. BTS announced in October that it will take a hiatus as the members fulfil their mandatory military service in South Korea and focus on their solo careers.

Pink Floyd to release 50th anniversary box set

Pink Floyd is releasing a new box set of its album “Dark Side of the Moon”, in honour of the album’s 50th anniversary. The CD and vinyl set includes the 2023 remastered version of the album and a CD and LP of “The Dark Side of the Moon — Live at Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974.”

The set also features a 76-page music book and a 160-page photo book from Thames & Hudson, that includes rare and previously unseen photographs. Moreover, the Thames & Hudson photo book will also be available to purchase independently of the box set. Pink Floyd will release the box set March 24. In addition, “Dark Side of the Moon” will play in planetariums around the world in March.

“Dark Side of the Moon” is Pink Floyd’s eighth studio album and was originally released March 1, 1973.

Avatar 3 confirms Game of Thrones star’s role in next sequel

Director James Cameron will release Avatar: The Way of Water, the third film in the franchise next year and it’s set to reveal a bunch of new characters, like Game of Thrones star Oona Chaplin. The actress will play Varang, who will be the leader of the Na’vi fire nation tribe.

It is revealed that the fire/Ash tribe would also be more antagonistic than the tribes we’ve met in previous films. The sequel is confirmed to feature several returning stars, that include Sam Worthington, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Sigourney Weaver, and many more. The cast include several more newcomers than returning members, though, with the likes of Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, CJ Jones, etc., all set to appear as well. Plot details for the sequels are currently unknown. Avatar 3 is set to debut on December 20, 2024.
