Islamabad police warn of terrorism risks as protesters enter Red Zone

The Islamabad Police has tweeted that protesters — presumably belonging to the Pakistan Democratic Movement, the ruling coalition — have entered the capital’s Red Zone area but the “situation is peaceful”.

It further asked the public to remain peaceful and cooperate with the police.

In another tweet, it warned the public that there are “risks of terrorism” and asked the public to stay away from places where crowds have gathered.
