PTI chief Imran Khan has claimed that acts of arson during protests in the wake of his arrest were committed “deliberately” to provide grounds for a crackdown on the PTI.

During an interview with Al Jazeera, the former premier asserted that “the arson was not us, and whenever there is an independent investigation, you will find out that it was not us”.
