PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has claimed that the May 9 violence was planned and that its mastermind was PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

Addressing a gathering of religious leaders in Lahore, the party’s chief organiser accused the PTI chief of preparing in advance a “list of locations” that were to be targeted in case of his arrest.

In what was a highly incendiary speech, she also rejected Imran’s condemnation of the violence.

“He doesn’t have to condemn but instead he needs to be fixed,” she added.
