The capital police have expressed their lack of knowledge regarding the location of PTI leaders Ali Muhammad Khan and Maleeka Bokhari during the hearing of the petition against their rearrest in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

During the proceedings, PTI lawyer Barrister Taimur Malik contended that the Islamabad police should be questioned about the individuals responsible for the rearrest of the two leaders after their release.

Malik urged the court to grant them the access to meet the two leaders if they were being held at Adiala Jail. In response, the court directed the jail authorities to provide an update on the custody status of Bokhari.

However, the court rejected the plea for the recovery of Khan, citing that it falls outside the jurisdiction of the court.
