Former prime minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned the rearrest of party leader Shireen Mazari, expressing his concern over the current regime’s actions and stating that they were “sinking to new lows.”

Taking to Twitter, Imran Khan voiced his disapproval, saying that the purpose behind Mazari’s rearrest was to “break her spirit.” He further highlighted the delicate state of her health, emphasising the potentially adverse effects of such a move.

“The country is rapidly descending towards becoming a Banana republic where might is right,” the PTI chief said.
