Qureshi to take up PTI’s reins, predicts Tessori
LAHORE: Sindh Governor Kamaran Tessori has predicted that Shah Mahmood Qureshi will lead the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in coming days.
Mr Tessori visited the Corps Commander House Lahore on Wednesday and condemned the May 9 attacks on the military installations. “Shah Mahmood Qureshi will come forward and take the reins of the PTI,” he said.
Tessori also demanded strict action against PTI chief Imran Khan saying those involved in such incidents should not escape the punishment.
He said all those involved in attacks on army installations should be tried in the military courts and handed down strict sentences. He said May 9 would be remembered as a black day in Pakistan’s history.
Tessori also requested Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial to visit the Jinnah House along with his fellow judges to see the designs of the PTI.
Meanwhile, the PML-N leadership has decided to observe the Youm-i-Takbeer with full zeal and zest to mark Pakistan becoming a nuclear country.
