PTI Senator Faisal Javed has called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial to take action on the “plight of women in jails across Pakistan” and demanded that female prisoners be released.

“People in other political parties especially women and the media must take a stand and speak up for women’s rights,” he tweeted.
