Firdous Ashiq Awan, who recently parted ways with the PTI, has said that the events of May 9 didn’t happen overnight.

Speaking to the media outside Jinnah House in Lahore, she regretted that her former party had “played with the minds of the youth” for a decade.

Pakistani film actress Resham was also standing next to Awan as she railed against the PTI.
