Four Pakistan swimmers to feature in worlds

ISLAMABAD: Four swimmers from Pakistan are set to feature in the World Swimming Championships, set to be held in Fukuoka, Japan from July 23 to 30.

Pakistan Swimming Federation secretary general Ahmad Ali Khan said on Thursday that there will be two male and as many female swimmers from Pakistan at the championships.

“Male swimmers include Syed Mohammad Haseeb Tariq and Mohammad Aman Siddiqui while female swimmers comprise Bisma Khan and Jahara Nabi,” he said.

Haseeb and Bisma shone at the recently-concluded National Games and Ahmad added that the PSF was going to organise a training camp ahead of the event.

“High quality training will be provided to the players to improve their techniques and skills as per international standards,” he added.
