Ahsan keeps winning

KARACHI: Second seed Ahsan Ramzan continued his winning run in the Asian U-21 Snooker Championship by overcoming Iran’s Ali Lalegani 3-1 in his third group match in Tehran on Monday.

Former world champion Ahsan stormed back from the deficit to post a 43-78, 74-6, 76-38, 68-0 victory over Ali Lalegani.

In an earlier match, Ahsan blanked Mohammad Sadiq of Afghanistan 85-9, 105-8, 67-16.

Meanwhile, the pair of Ahsan and Haris Tahir also stayed unbeaten in group ‘A’ of Asian 6-Reds Team Snooker Championship.

The duo struggled to beat Bahrain 18-76, 60-30, 85-0, 38-58, 68-34 in a fully-stretched battle in their third match.
