National team, Shaheens camps start today
LAHORE: The training camps for Pakistan’s national senior team and Pakistan Shaheens commence in Karachi and Lahore, respectively, from Tuesday (today).
While the Babar Azam-led Pakistan team will tour Sri Lanka for a two-Test series being stated there from July 16-28 as the first assignment of the third ICC Test Championship cycle, Mohammad Haris-captained Shaheens will also travel to Sri Lanka to feature in an eight-team ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup being held in the island nation from July 14-23.
The national team’s camp, the first phase of which was held in Lahore, will be organized at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi till July 7. The squad leaves for Sri Lanka on July 8.
The Shaheens will attend their camp until July 10 before leaving for Sri Lanka on July 11.
