Two held with 120kg hashish in Kohat

KOHAT: The Kohat police in a big haul seized 120 kilogrammes of hashish being smuggled to various districts of Punjab from the Darra Adamkhel tribal subdivision in a car.

DSP headquarters Nawab Khan and SHO Roman Khan told a press conference that they were busy with routine checking of vehicles at the Gulshanabad checkpost, when they stopped a suspicious car coming from Darra Adamkhel.

They said that during a search of its secret cavities, they recovered 118.305 kilogrammes of hashish concealed in packets, and arrested two persons, Zohaib and Gul Daraz, belonging to the Attock district of Punjab.

Later, they were presented in a court, and the judge sent them on a three-day physical remand for further investigation.
