Interim CM’s selection ‘exposes’ parties: Bizenjo
QUETTA: Former chief minister of Balochistan Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo has said that the recent process of selecting an interim chief minister has exposed the political parties.
In a statement issued on Sunday, he advised political parties to focus on their actions instead of making tall claims.
“I have no complaints or reservations with anyone, but what happened in the process of choosing an interim chief minister will prove with time,” he said, adding that he had accepted the decision as the will of Allah.
He said that whatever happened was good and emphasised that nobody should assume they possess the power to act as they please, it is Allah who decides and we have to accept it.
“We can amend the laws of the land and other regulations to achieve our goals, but no one can change the decisions of Almighty Allah,” Mr Bizenjo said.
He reiterated he did not harbour complaints against anyone, but he did have the right to present the facts. “We are always ready to do everything for politics, but what Allah decides, I believe in it.”
The ex-CM said what had transpired in Balochistan, was initiated by a religious party and later a member of a Pashtun nationalist party, which was part of his coalition government, joined hands with the religious party.
