Armed clash in Dadu leaves activist dead, brother wounded
DADU: A man, stated to be activist of the Pakistan Peoples Party, was shot dead and his brother seriously wounded in a clash between two groups of the Syed clan over some matrimonial matter involving a piece of land in Qaim Shah Agro village near Radhan town of Dadu district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Hakim Ali Shah and his wounded brother as Manzoor Shah.
Soon after the incident, armed youths from the two sides took up positions in their respective localities and continued firing on each other, sowing fear and panic in and around the village and forcing people to rush back to their homes.
Manzoor Shah was taken to a hospital for emergency treatment and later referred to a major hospital in Larkana due to his critical condition.
Dadu SSP Abdul Khaliq Pirzado said three suspects had been arrested.
