LAHORE: PML-N senior-vice president Maryam Nawaz says inflation will end when party supreme leader Nawaz Sharif returns to the country (from London).

Speaking at the youth coordinators of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Friday, Ms Nawaz said her party would take on economic challenges under the leadership of Nawaz.

“People are pinning hope on Nawaz. The way he handled the electricity and other crises after coming to power in 2013, he will steer the country out of crises now as well.”

She said Nawaz would resume CPEC projects that would help improve economic conditions and end unemployment. During the last four years, the country’s economy was destroyed, she said. She said she was seeing the youth joining the party.

The PML-N is paying special attention to woo the youth as Maryam Nawaz has been active in this regard by holding a good number of meetings with the youth of Punjab and Kyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Earlier, she said she wanted her party to award maximum tickets to young men and women in upcoming elections.
