Boards declare inter results
SARGODHA: The Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced the results of the annual intermediate part-II examination for 2023 on Wednesday.
A total of 52,868 candidates participated in the examination, out of which 33,536 passed.
The examination controller said that 43,876 regular candidates participated in the examination, with 29,471 passing. Of the 8,992 private candidates, 4,165 passed.
In terms of gender, 23,824 boys participated in the exam, of which 13,242 passed, and 28,994 female students, of which 20,394 passed.
BAHAWALPUR: In Bahawalpur, 33,006 candidates, out of 57,443, were declared successful.
TOBA TEK SINGH: In Faisalabad, out of 99,874 candidates, 65,837 were declared to have passed.
DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Dera Ghazi Ghaz Khan BISE announced the results of the intermediate part II and combined first annual examination for 2023 in which 57,512 candidates appeared in the examination, and 38,438 passed.
Muzaffargarh District secured the first position with a 73.06 per cent pass rate, while Layyah District stood second with 64.32pc, followed by Dera Ghazi Khan with 63.25pc and Rajanpur with 57.44pc.
SAHIWAL: Up to 52pc of candidates passed the intermediate examination in the Sahiwal BISE. A total of 45,063 candidates appeared in the examination, while 23,414 passed. A total of 35,918 students appeared in the annual exam as regular students, and 20,404 of them passed.
