PML-N holds women convention in Haripur

HARIPUR: The era of real development would begin soon as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was going to form the next government, claimed the speakers at a women convention of the party held here on Wednesday.

PML-N’s women wing organised the event.

The speakers included PML-N’s former MPA Sobia Khan, Haripur district president Sahibzada Hamid Shah, Hazara division president of women wing Dr Shaista Jadoon and others.

They claimed the PML-N had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the integrity and prosperity of the country, and implemented mega development projects, but its leadership was exposed to worst victimisation, faced court cases and prisons.

They said when PML-N came into power ‘the miscreants’ opposed to the prosperity of the country and its people created obstacles, dragging the country off the track of real development. They said the country was going to be put on the track of real development and economic prosperity with the arrival of party supremo Nawaz Sharif.

The speakers claimed with the announcement of arrival date of Nawaz Sharif, the indicators of national economy had started showing positive signs, and with the forming of PML-N government the work on previously stalled projects would be resumed, new job opportunities would be created and the nation would be given relief from the price hike and economic stress.
