Stevie Nicks Barbie sells out

The ’70s-style doll, which Mattel launched in honour of the Fleetwood Mac star’s 75th birthday, is inspired by her outfit on the cover of the iconic 1977 album Rumours. Those familiar with Nicks’ all-black ensembles, a style she’s honed since the ’70s, will see her likeness in the doll’s flowy-sleeved black dress, platform boots and moon-shaped pendant. It also boasts her recognisable blond bangs and smoky eye shadow and a tambourine in hand cascading with ribbons.

The $55 doll was released for pre-order initially, and was being limited to 10 purchases per customer (30 purchases per customer on Amazon), it sold out almost immediately. While it’s no longer available on the Mattel website, it’s now being auctioned off on Ebay with listings starting at $100, and some have sold for $160!
