British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, upon his arrival in Egypt today, has urged global leaders to collaborate in order to prevent “regional escalation.”

In a post on social media platform X, Sunak wrote: “I am in Egypt as part of wider efforts to prevent the spread of violence.”

He said all leaders must work together to avoid any “regional escalation” and ensure humanitarian aid reaches civilians in Gaza.
