Palestinian human rights activist ‘reportedly alive’ after house bombed, UN official says
Francesca Albanese, UN’s special rapporteur on the Occupied Palestine Territories, has said that the house of Raji Sourani, a prominent Palestinian human rights activist, was bombed by Israel’s airstrikes.
She added that he was “reportedly alive”, highlighting that it was difficult to get information due to no electricity.
“In nine days, Israel has killed nearly as many as in five previous wars against Gaza. This is not self-defence, this is an unfolding atrocity,” she asserted.
