A student of the University of Manitoba in Canada was suspended for “criticising Israeli violence against Palestinians”, Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East has said.

Arij Al Khafagi was the president of the Nursing Students’ Association and was enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing Program.
