Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has urged the continued advocacy for the people of Gaza, emphasising the need for a “full ceasefire” and increased humanitarian aid.

In a post on X, she expressed relief that the bombardment in Gaza has temporarily halted. However, she voiced concerns that children in Gaza might wake up still mourning loved ones, in need of basic necessities, and living in fear of potential future attacks on their homes, streets, and schools.
