Stress of board exams

This is with reference to the article “Stress of board exams” (YW, October 28) by Ayesha Fatima.

The article discussed how board exams can be a source of anxiety for students who haven’t taken exams on that level before. This stage demands hard work from students and if they don’t put in the effort, they won’t progress.

Students need to commit to preparing for exams beforehand; this involves shutting down mobile phones and television a few days before the exams, to concentrate fully on their studies.

The Gaza nightmare

This is with reference to the cover article “The Gaza nightmare” by Qasim. A. Moini (YW, November 4). The writer provided a comprehensive background knowledge about the disputed land and detailed the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Many kids are not aware of these facts. The article shed light on the unfortunate situation there due to which innocent civilians have lost their lives and those alive are in constant peril. It is crucial for us to express solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

This can be done by raising our voices on various media platforms, contributing to medical aid and donations, and participating in boycotts and protests against Israel and its actions. I commend the writer for bringing attention to this issue for young readers.

II

I am moved by the heartbreaking news and the ongoing genocide in Gaza. I appreciate writer Qasim A. Moini for penning “The Gaza nightmare” and giving us insight into the historical background and the current situation.

Now is the time for all of us to come together and raise our voices in any way possible. If we can, let’s extend our support to the endangered people currently facing attacks from tyrants. May peace prevail and may the people of Gaza be freed from the clutches of inhumanity.

Learn from mistakes

Mistakes are a natural part of life, especially when we try new things. Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s important not to see them in a negative light. Some people keep making the same mistakes, and that’s okay as long as you learn from them.

However, repeating the same mistakes without realising it can be a big regret in the end. The key is to break the cycle, learn from errors and use them as opportunities to improve.
