Six more emigrant offices being set up

ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to establish six additional protectorate of emigrant offices at strategic locations in the country, a positive news for individuals aspiring to work abroad.

The new protectorate offices will be established in Sukkur, Abbottabad, Azad and Jammu Kash­mir, Gwadar, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan. There are currently nine protectorate of emigrant offices situated in Kara­chi, Lahore, Peshawar, Ra­­walpindi, Quetta, Multan, Malakand, D.G. Khan and Sialkot, managed by the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment.

The decision to open six more protectorate offices was taken at a meeting held at the ministry of overseas Pakistanis and human resource development in Islamabad.
