1,000 Gaza children amputated without anesthesia: UN
More than 9,000 children in the Gaza Strip have been injured in intense Israeli bombing, which has left them grappling with the loss of an arm or a leg, Unicef says.
According to UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesa Albanese, 1,000 children in the enclave have been amputated without anesthesia because Israeli has blocked the entry of essential supplies into the Strip.
