Wonder Craft: Bunny giveaway
Giveaways never go out of fashion, whether it’s for weddings, birthdays or similar events, where you or your family plan to present a token of appreciation to the guests for their presence or the occasion being celebrated.
These giveaways are crafted using a variety of materials and can be customised and commercialised to suit individual tastes and preferences. However, they can be expensive.
Did you know that there are numerous materials readily available in your house with which you can create a beautiful giveaway box or jar? Let’s make one today and show you how!
Things you need:
Plastic bottle (any size, according to the quantity of sweets you put in).
Pieces of glitter sheet in three colours (of your choice)
Hot glue
Scissors/paper cutter
Pencil or marker
A small piece of foam sheet
Ruler
Sweets or chocolates
Directions:
Cut the top part of the bottle, as shown in picture 2.
Take this top part and trace its diameter on the foam sheet, see picture 3.
Cut out the circle from the foam sheet and draw a cross in the centre, as shown in picture 4.
Cut along the lines of the cross, ensuring that it is very small, picture 5.
Use hot glue to attach the bottle part to the foam circle, picture 6.
Here, I am using pieces of pink, silver and cyan glitter sheet; take a 6-inch long and one-inch wide piece of pink glitter sheet, picture 7.
Fold it inward from both sides and gently press it in the centre, picture 8.
Take a small two-inch long and one centimetre wide, from the cyan sheet and fold it onto the pink piece. We just created a bow, see picture 9.
Cut a strip from the silver glitter sheet that is one centimetre wide and at least 8 inches long (the size depends on the choice of your bottle).
Paste it around the bottom side of the bottle part, picture 10.
In the same manner, cut another thin strip from the cyan glitter sheet and paste it over the silver strip, see picture 11.
Cover the mouth or cap part with the cyan glitter sheet, picture 12.
Cut a three-inch long, one-inch wide piece from cyan. In the same manner, cut another piece from the silver sheet, picture 13.
Remember that the silver glitter piece will be shorter than the cyan one. Then, cut the top part of both pieces in a curve, resembling the ears of a bunny. After that, paste the silver piece on the cyan one, see picture 14.
Now carefully, paste both the ears on the bottle cap, see picture 15.
Paste the bow in the centre of the ears, picture 16.
Insert sweets and chocolates from the bottom, the cut part, picture 17.
