Israeli bombing raises fears over aid delivery in Gaza
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud, who is reporting from Rafah in southern Gaza, says vulnerable residents and internally displaced Palestinians were concerned that the much-needed assistance might not reach the designated areas given the continuous Israeli bombardment.
“The air strikes continue the pounding of the Gaza Strip from north to south,” says Mahmoud.
He adds the communication blackout for six days has compounded the situation, making it “very difficult” to coordinate efforts on the ground.
