Malik Baloch condemns Iranian attack
QUETTA: President of the National Party, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, has condemned the Iranian missiles and drone attack, terming it aggression and stating that the violation of Pakistani airspace is highly inopportune and condemnable.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday alongside other party leaders, he called for better relations with neighbouring countries, including Iran and Afghanistan.
Dr Malik Baloch, former chief minister of Balochistan, suggested the caretaker government resolve issues with Afghanistan and Iran through mutual understanding and negotiations.
Dr Malik said that the people of Balochistan should be given the right to vote, enabling elected representatives to address the people’s problems.
He announced the National Party’s support for Liaquat Lehri, an independent candidate contesting PB-43-Quetta, who had joined the PPP during the visit of Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in November. The PPP has not awarded a party ticket to Mr Lehri.
Dr Malik stated that seat adjustment with the PML-N in the upcoming general elections is yet to extend to Hub and Lasbela.
