Visions of innovation

This is concerning the story “Visions of innovation” by Mifrah Ilyas (YW, December 9). The story made me realise that everyone in this world can be like the hero of the story, Leo, who helped people around him. While we may not have the same vision as Leo, we can still see around us that many people need our help.

I also learned that there will be many wicked people like Victor, but we should not be afraid of them. If we are on the right path, we should act bravely and remain courageous.

Changing times

This is regarding the article “Changing times” by Saba Asim (YW, December 2). The article focused on how technology has changed our lives, not just in a better way, but also in a bad way.

Although the new gadgets with amazing technology have made life easier, it is also affecting young people’s minds who are so engrossed in them that they forget to be respectful and considerate, especially towards older people. The article forces us to think about how technology is influencing the way young people behave these days.

I liked the article “Changing times” by Saba Asim as it made me think about how much our world has changed. Unlike our grandparents, who had to use landline phones and letters to communicate, we have digital technology that connects us globally. Our ancestors faced tough challenges, but they still achieved remarkable things. We must not ignore their efforts or disrespect them.

As time passes, the technology we’re proud of today will become old, and our future generations might see us as outdated.

Chills, cockroaches and cheer!

This is regarding the story “Chills, cockroaches and cheer!” by Sumaiya Farooq (YW, December 23). I enjoyed reading the story as it was really funny, especially the way the writer described her journey with unexpected challenges and fun moments on a train. I request the YW team to publish more amusing stories like this one.
